Put Yourself in Rooms Where You Have to Up-Level

Almost home after my Ultra Mastermind event in Austin, Texas.

Feeling super VIBEY with energy, creativity, and passion—

my three favorite frequencies!

And looking forward to seeing my family and baby dog.

Getting away for these events is a sacrifice.

I missed my Broadway show, my hubby’s 72 hours at home, and a few other things I care about.

But the work I do requires a lot of me, and my people deserve the best of me, so I put myself in rooms where I have no choice but to up-level.

That matters.

Because growth doesn’t always happen when we’re comfortable.

Sometimes we need to put ourselves somewhere that stretches us.

Somewhere there are people thinking bigger.

Creating differently.

Asking better questions.

Doing things we haven’t figured out yet.

It’s not always convenient.

It may mean missing something you love.

It may mean spending money, changing your schedule, or stepping away from the people and routines that feel familiar.

But sometimes the sacrifice is part of the investment.

I’m grateful to be at this stage of my career, which I built from the elements of my personality:

a friendly, outgoing girl who’s fascinated with getting 1% better and bringing others along with me.

That’s still me.

Still learning.

Still stretching.

Still looking for the next room that will make me think differently.

And I think there’s something important in that for all of us.

If you look like you’ve got it all together on the outside, but your inside wonders if it can even show up…

Maybe you don’t need to try harder in the same room.

Maybe you need a different room.

A room that asks more of you.

A room where your old answers don’t quite work.

A room where you get to discover what you’re capable of next.

That’s part of leadership, too.

Not pretending you’ve arrived.

Being willing to keep becoming.

And then bringing other people along with you.
