When You Put Yourself in the Right Rooms, There Are No Limits

When You Put Yourself in the Right Rooms, There Are No Limits

I’m really only afraid of a few things.

Flying across the country by myself?
Dining alone?
Walking the streets of new neighborhoods?

Not my problem.

Being away from my family?
That’s my greatest fear.

I’m blessed to be able to invite guests to my events, and Dalton flew in today.

My family is the most valuable source of learning I’ve ever known. And as my boys have grown and moved away, I get to learn about topics I otherwise wouldn’t have thought of — or been exposed to — because that’s what we do.

We learn.

We grow.

We can’t keep it to ourselves.

The Joy of Watching Growth

Remember what it was like to see your child experience their first movie or concert?

You watched their eyes.
Heard their breaths.
Laughed when they laughed.

It’s the same when they’re thirty-one years old and you’re showing them the things that are important to you.

Growth doesn’t expire.

Personal development doesn’t age out.

Personal leadership is generational.

The Right Rooms Change Everything

My coaches, Brendon Burchard and Ed Mylett, will speak wisdom to me and my son, and we will take notes, mix it up, and imagine what’s possible for the next five years.

We will have meaningful conversations with people from all over.

Speaking gratitude.
Acknowledging wins.
Seeking guidance.

When you put yourself in the right rooms, there are no limits but your own imagination.

That’s not hype.

That’s high achiever mindset work.

That’s coaching in real time.

That’s what happens when you intentionally surround yourself with people who stretch you.

Invite the People You Love Into Your Becoming

It’s not lost on me how priceless this is.

And as long as I’m learning and growing, I’m going to invite the people I love into my world.

I’m always a little sad when I hear parents say their grown kids don’t want to be part of their lives anymore.

There’s still a lifetime of exchanging what I’ve learned and what he’s learned.

A lifetime of sitting for a while to ponder.

A lifetime of evolving together.

Growth isn’t meant to be hoarded.

It’s meant to be shared.

You’re Not Done Yet

We have a priceless few days ahead of us.

Sun and surf.
Great meals.
Good company.

And conversations that will shape the next five years.

You are never too old.
Too stuck.
Too stubborn.

Burnout recovery doesn’t mean shrinking your world.

It means expanding it wisely.

Self worth deepens when you allow yourself to keep becoming.

So let me ask you:

Who are you inviting into your growth?
And what room do you need to walk into next?

Because you don’t have to do this alone.

And you’re not done yet.
