The Most Dangerous Thing a Woman Can Be: Fully Herself

✨ It’s Okay for People to Be Wrong About You ✨

Julie here. 💥

Let’s talk about something that still rubs people the wrong way: powerful women who make bold choices.

Whether it’s on stage, in the boardroom, or just living unapologetically, women continue to be judged—often by other women—for expressing confidence, sexuality, or ambition. 🙄

🎭 The Courage to Be in the Arena

I am endlessly inspired by artists and performers who put themselves out there. They’re in the arena. They create something out of nothing, solely to make us smile, sing, dance, laugh… and to momentarily relieve us from the mundane. 🎶💃

It was ten minutes.

If it wasn’t your thing, that was a great time to grab a snack. 🍿

Better yet, go watch the Elvis movie. It’s a great show with a fantastic actor and a storyline that might surprise you. 🎥✨

💪 Women and Power: Nothing New

Here’s the thing: some women like sex. They find it life-affirming, joyful, and yes, they might even sing about it. 🎤🔥

And let’s be real—there are very few dance performances that aren’t sensual or openly sexual.

This. Is. Nothing. New.

And frankly, neither is the judgment. 🙄

The world has spent generations trying to police women and self-expression. The moment a woman steps into her confidence and personal power, there’s always a chorus of voices trying to drag her back into a box she never belonged in. 🚫📦

👶 What Are We Really Teaching Our Kids?

I’ve heard people say, “Think of the children!”

But what do you think your children hear when you rip apart an incredibly talented artist? 🤔

What happens when your child hesitates to sing in the talent show because they remember how you criticized someone who took a bold step onto a world stage? 🎭

I hope your darlings chase their dreams. I hope they don’t let small minds dictate their potential. Encouraging women to be bold starts with what we model—and that includes how we react when women own their space, their success, and their bodies. 👏✨

🔥 Rihanna’s Power Move

Some people claimed that Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance wasn’t big enough. 🤡

Ahem.

Where have you been?

If the biggest problem on your mind today is that a sexy woman dared to own her body, her talent, and her moment—while pregnant— then perhaps there are bigger issues in your world. 🤰💃

This woman brought her baby belly to work on one of the most important gigs of her career. She didn’t pause. She didn’t apologize. She didn’t recruit a big strong man to save the day. 🙅‍♀️

She didn’t make herself smaller or more palatable to fit someone else’s expectations. And THAT is what true power looks like. 💥

🚀 The Shift We Just Witnessed

Clutch your pearls all you want, but something just shifted.

It’s not shameful to be young and hot and talented and sexy and… pregnant.

It’s powerful.

And if some people are wrong about Rihanna, they’re probably wrong about me, too. 💅🔥

Now, excuse me while I order something from her Fenty line. 💄✨

💬 Final Thoughts

Supporting women in the arts means recognizing their right to take up space, create, and express themselves without fear of backlash.

Breaking gender stereotypes requires us to challenge outdated ideas about what women can and cannot do. 🚀

So, let’s stop worrying about criticism from people who were never going to cheer for us anyway. Let’s rewrite the narrative.

Because the most dangerous thing a woman can be is…

💥 Fully. Herself. 💥
