You’re Never Too Old to Grow Together
What Growth Looks Like Now
I’m blessed to be able to invite guests to my events, and my son Dalton flew in today.
My family is the most valuable source of learning I’ve ever known, and as my boys have grown and moved away, I get to learn about topics I otherwise wouldn’t have thought of, or been exposed to, because that’s what we do.
We are all so excited to learn, we can’t keep it to ourselves.
Remember what it was like to see your child experience their first movie or concert?
You watched their eyes, heard their breaths, and laughed when they laughed?
It’s the same when they’re thirty one years old, and you’re showing them the things that are important to you.
The Right Rooms Change Everything
My coaches, Brendon Burchard and Ed Mylett, will speak wisdom to me and my son, and we will take notes, mix it up, and imagine what’s possible for the next five years.
We will have meaningful conversations with people from all over, speaking gratitude, acknowledging wins, and seeking guidance.
When you put yourself in the right rooms, there are no limits but your own imagination.
This is what personal leadership looks like in real life.
Not just growing yourself, but expanding what is possible for the people you love.
If you’ve ever felt the pull to step into that kind of growth, you can explore how that work happens inside Julie’s Season of Self program, where your evolution becomes something you actually live, not just think about.
Growth Doesn’t End When They Grow Up
It’s not lost on me how priceless this is, but as long as I’m learning and growing, I’m going to invite the people I love into my world.
I’m sad when I hear parents who think their grown kids don’t still want to be a focus of their lives.
There’s a lifetime of exchanging what I’ve learned and what he’s learned and sitting for a while to ponder.
Growth doesn’t stop.
It changes shape.
It deepens.
And if you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to keep evolving in every season of life, this is the heart of personal leadership, where your life, your relationships, and your growth all move together.
You can read more about that here: what personal leadership really means in everyday life.
This Is the Life
We have a priceless few days ahead of us, with lots of sun and surf, great meals, and good company.
You’re never too old, too stuck, or too stubborn to grow.
And you don’t have to do that growth alone.
Some of the most powerful change happens in conversation, in reflection, and in spaces designed for it.
If you’re ready for that kind of support, 1:1 coaching can help you turn insight into real change that actually lasts.
