Eclipse Musings & The Messy Work of Becoming

Eclipse Musings & The Messy Work of Becoming

I’m not a huge astrology buff.
But I am an expert in human behavior—
And I’m deeply connected to the earth, the sky, and the rhythms of nature.

So when something cosmic happens—
A full moon.
A solar eclipse.
A thunderstorm that splits open the sky—
I pay attention.

Because these events?
They shift things.

Not just in the sky, but in our bones.
In our breath.
In our choices.

We are not separate from the tides or the seasons.
We are living, breathing instruments—tuned to something greater.

And right now?
That something is calling us to wake the hell up.

We’ve Lost Touch

We’ve been through a lot in the last five years.
You know it. I know it.

We’ve lost far too many people.
But we’ve also lost our human connection.

People are still sitting in their homes,
staring at screens instead of faces,
texting instead of calling,
ordering instead of gathering,
judging instead of listening.

We whisper behind cupped hands.
We point fingers.
We hide behind the illusion of righteousness while abandoning compassion.

Some churches have forgotten their own scripture.
Governing bodies have weaponized belief.
And the most marginalized among us are being told they’re unworthy of basic dignity.

Let that sink in.

The Eclipse Is an Invitation

This cosmic shift—this eclipse—it isn’t just astronomy.
It’s an invitation.

To look inward.
To reckon with our ego.
To process our pain.
To take radical responsibility.

And most of all?
To act.

Not perfect action.
Not Instagram-worthy, aligned, crystal-blessed action.
Just real, messy, imperfect action.

Because that’s the only way forward.

Let’s Get Real

Here’s the truth.
And it might sting.

Stop f*#%ing around with who’s to blame for everything in your life.
Start working on the one thing you can control: you.

If you missed learning something?
Go learn it.
You were created to bring forth something powerful. Don’t wait to be spoon-fed.

If your relationship is stale, absent, undernourishing, or cruel?
You take action.
Change your thoughts or change your situation.
You were made to love and be loved well.

If you’re under earning, over spending, or stuck in “I can’t afford it” energy?
Dig in.
Your genius is in there. Find what value you can offer the world—and work.

And if you’ve fallen into the trap of demanding others conform to your idea of “good”?
Take a breath.
Do something good with zero expectation of return.
Heal your own sh#* instead of projecting it onto everyone else.

We’re All In This

I’m with you.
I’m not above this.
I’ve rolled my eyes. I’ve scoffed. I’ve said unkind things.

Like you, I’m a work in progress and God’s masterpiece.
Simultaneously.

Just a human, being human.
But also?
Not messing around.

I’m owning my part.
And I’m inviting you to own yours, too.

Because personal leadership, burnout recovery, high-achiever healing, and spiritual resilience?
They don’t come from waiting.

They come from doing.
From showing up.
From screwing it up, making amends, and showing up again.

And maybe—just maybe—this eclipse is your moment.
To see the shadows.
To choose your next brave step.
To remember who the hell you came here to be.

Let the light in.
